Listen Twice
How about we listen more than we speak?
Just me thinking out loud. But maybe, just maybe, that’s why we have two ears and one mouth: to listen twice as much as we speak.
You rarely get it wrong when you truly listen.
While your ears catch the words, your eyes observe the unspoken cues, and your mind quietly pieces it all together.
Sometimes, what someone needs isn’t advice, correction, or opinion.
Sometimes, all they need is a still presence.
A listening ear.
Not a blabbing tongue.
So listen twice. Then speak; if you must.
