Dear August!

 Dear August,

It’s a fresh page. A new breath. A quiet turning of the calendar that feels anything but ordinary.

I step into you with awareness, not rushing, not dragging my feet, just arriving... fully present.
I come in bold. I come in whole.
No pretence. No pressure.

I don’t want to just pass through this month; I want to live through it intentionally, truthfully, and joyfully.

Because if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that time doesn’t always wait. So I will not waste this space.
I will not delay my becoming.

I affirm that:

  • My words will work. They will open doors, stir hearts, and leave fingerprints on moments that matter.

  • My light will shine. Even in rooms I never thought I’d enter, I will not dim. I will not apologise for brilliance born of grace.

  • My consistency will speak. Even when no one claps, I will continue to show up. Loud or quiet, or seen or unseen; it counts.

  • My voice will bless. It’s not just noise; it’s nectar to those who need truth and hope in equal measure.

  • My work will not go unnoticed. It may not go viral, but it will go deep. And that is more than enough.

  • My rest will be sacred, not stolen. I am not a machine. I will honour the stillness that fuels my becoming.

This month, I permit myself to show up as I am: gifted, growing, and enough.

Not perfect. Not always sure. But present.
And that’s powerful.

I give myself grace for what didn’t happen in July.
I don’t carry guilt. I carry growth.
Whatever fell off, whatever didn’t bloom, I leave behind without shame.

I give myself hope for what can happen in August.
A lot can change in 31 days, and it doesn’t take much for God to shift a life.

Beyond striving, I align.
Beyond shrinking, I shine.

Because it’s not just August.
It’s my becoming season. And I believe, with every fibre of my being, that everything, yes, everything is working together for my good.

So, Dear August, welcome.
Let’s do this, boldly, beautifully, and on purpose.
